The Englewood City Council took the following action at its September 7, 2010 meeting:

Minutes

  • Council approved the minutes of the August 16, 2010 City Council meeting.

Scheduled Public Comment

  • Englewood Fire Chief Pattarozzi and Englewood Parks & Recreation Director Jerrell Black presented certificates to Heather Haynes, Kayly Newland, and Bob Leonard for life saving efforts associated with an incident at the Englewood Recreation Center.

  • Barbara Kendall discussed keeping funding for the art shuttle in the 2011 budget.
  • Lucille Seaton discussed keeping funding for the art shuttle in the 2011 budget.
  • Anne Burris discussed keeping funding for the art shuttle in the 2011 budget.
  • Williams Parks discussed keeping funding for the art shuttle in the 2011 budget and sharing costs with surrounding businesses.
  • Jackie Edwards addressed City Council regarding holding educational sessions on medical cannabis in the Library.

    • Council Bill No. 28 - 2010, granting an easement to Qwest for installation of telecommunication facilities at Broken Tee Englewood Golf Course.
    • Council Bill No. 29 - 2010, authorizing two Intergovernmental Subgrantee Agreements with Arapahoe County for 2010 Community Development Block Grant.
